On-Campus Network Access
Employees living in the River Village Apartments can establish a
network connection to the Internet allowing the use of a Web browser and
other Internet activity such as secure FTP. Employees living in the
River Village Apartments can find information on the ResNet Web site, or by calling 307
766 2989.
Off-Campus Network Access
Dial-up connections are available at 307 721 0400. Access to the
modem pool allows the use of a Web browser and other Internet activity.
Instructions for setting up a dial-up connection are found on the AskIT "How To" Web site. Printed
copies of the "How To..." documents are also available at any
of the student computer labs.
Virtual Private Network (VPN)
connections to the UW computer Network
VPN allows authorized users to securely connect to the UW data
network from the campus wireless network or from off campus using
various commercial Internet Service Providers.

Network
Wireless access points are available in
selected locations across campus. See the Wireless Locations Map to find out
where you can connect.
