Exchange 2007 Unified Messaging
Voice Mail • Email • Calendar

Exchange Server 2007 seamlessly delivers e-mail, voice mail, and calendar data into users' inboxes. Users can sort, manage, and act on multiple message types without having to switch between applications or systems. Messages arrive like a voice mail message and illuminate the message waiting indicator (MWI) on your telephone set, but it also delivers the message as an e-mail to your e-mail box with the actual voice mail attached as a ‘.wav’ (waveform audio) file that can be clicked on and played through your computer’s sound system! Additionally, there are other benefits of ‘transforming’ your voice mail to Exchange 2007 Unified Messaging:

Less wasted time – provides the ability to quickly send, receive, and find the exact information you need, no matter what form it was delivered in and no matter where you are.

One inbox – Exchange Server 2007 seamlessly delivers e-mail, voice mail, and calendar data into users' inboxes. Users can sort, manage, and act on multiple message types without having to switch between applications or systems.

Anywhere access – Exchange Unified Messaging delivers access from familiar clients like Microsoft Office Outlook®, Outlook Web Access, a variety of mobile devices, and ordinary telephones. Additionally, you can listen to your calendar and contact information, as well as e-mail messages from your telephone.

For more information on the benefits of Exchange 2007 Unified Messaging, please visit the MS Exchange 2007 website (http://www.microsoft.com/exchange/evaluation/unifiedmessaging/default.mspx). Note: Exchange fax features mentioned on this page are not implemented by UW.
