UW Oracle Resource List

Database Office

  • The Database Office is a unit within the Department of Information Services in the Division of Information Technology.
  • Our office ensures the databases that are the backbone of the administrative applications supported by DIS are stable, secure, functioning optimally and are backed up to speed disaster recovery.

Oracle Server Software, Client Software, Electronic Documentation, and Hard Copy Documentation:

    The University has an enterprise license for the Oracle database software. It can be used for most administrative or academic purposes free of charge to UW customers.

On-Campus Database Support:

    DIS-supported application databases are supported by the Database Office. Support on a paid consultation basis is available from the Database Office for UW administrative- or academic-related purposes.
