Advance (Institutional Advancement)

The University of Wyoming implemented Advance Client Server 2.0 in June 1998. This system gives the university the ability to manage records and reports related to UW Alumni, Donors, and Prospects. It allows them to support Alumni activities and enhances fund-raising efforts. Information Technology Telecommunications and System Support are responsible for the network infrastructure and network servers. The Department of Information Services is responsible for program maintenance and modification. The software is provided by SunGard Higher Education.

Over the last 10 years we have gone thru main upgrades and patches. Our latest upgrade was in the summer of 2007 to Version 9.1.
