New Employee Orientation |
New Employee Orientation is regularly offered for all new-benefited UW employees. During orientation you learn about the structure and resources of the University of Wyoming. You will be given information and the opportunity to enroll in the health, dental and life insurance plans. (Insurance is not automatic you must enroll within 31 days of eligibility to be covered.) Orientation also covers your retirement plan options, sick leave and vacation accruals, safety and a number of different topics.
Who is orientation for?
Orientation is held for all new-benefited employees. It is the official channel for
you to receive insurance information and training required for all UW employees.
When is orientation?
There are two session for Orientation The Benefits Orientation session cover long-term disability, retirement, life, health and dental insurance, the flexible benefits plan, payroll and parking. The General Orientation session covers the staff handbook plus a number of subjects presented by different departments on campus. Below is a schedule of the Orientation sessions and their locations:
