Business, Law, and Government
This FIG is for students who have chosen a a major in the College of Business . If you are interested in learning about how business is impacted by our legal and governance structure, Business, Law, and Government will give you a sample of some of these exciting aspects of business and the law. You’ll get to know some of our business faculty one-on-one while completing three courses and fulfilling three University Studies requirements. Classes include Economics, Law, and Government, where you will study the institutions that make business work; Accounting I, which focuses on integrated business processes and the legal environment; and Public Speaking, which allows you to hone your argumentation and persuasion skills. During advising, appropriate courses will be added to round out your schedule and meet your other interests.
