Family & Consumer Sciences

The Department of Family and Consumer Sciences requires a security screening (background check) for all undergraduates in Professional Child Development or Family & Community Services. The screening must take place upon declaration of major. Failure to do so will result in removal from the program. It is the student’s responsibility to pay for this screening. The cost is approximately $60. To access the screening process, click on the Begin Screen button below. Have your personal and payment information ready. When you have completed your screening, you can enter the site again to check on the status of your screening by clicking the Check Status button below
