Recall Update! In response to numerous cases of strangulation from window blinds, a recall has been made by the Consumer Product Safety Commission and the Window Covering Industry. Window blinds manufactured after 1995 have a new design to protect children from the danger of strangulation. Repair kits are available to correct unsafe older blinds already in homes.
