Partnership Project

Two types of consultants are certified in child care health and safety in Wyoming through a three credit internet training course which includes a 2 day on-campus session, FCSC/NURS 5105, at the University of Wyoming.

A Wyoming Certified Child Care Health Consultant (CCHC) is a registered nurse or health professional who has successfully completed the training.

A Wyoming Certified Child Care Consultant (CCC) is an early childhood professional who has successfully completed the specified training.

CCHC’s and CCC’s provide child care homes and centers consulting services and training on a variety of health and safety related topics.  These consultations can be on the telephone or through on-site visits.
