This information will be useful to you as a child care provider or as a parent. What is Healthy Child Care Wyoming? Healthy Child Care Wyoming is a collaborative project that focuses on health systems development in child care. It is a part of the Healthy Child Care America campaign which was launched in 1995 on the principle that families in partnership with child care and health care providers can promote the positive development of children in child care settings. GOALS 1. Healthy and safe environments for all children in out-of-home care. 2. State child care regulations that include health and safety standards. 3. Child care providers who have training in child care health and safety 4. The development of a statewide system of child care health consultants. 5. Children in out-of-home care enrolled in health insurance (KIDCARE/SCHIP).
