Welcome to the Department of Family and Consumer Sciences at the University of Wyoming!   Our mission is to strengthen families and communities with an emphasis on rural environments.

We recognize that societies are increasingly dynamic and interdependent. Therefore, we aspire to fulfill our mission through instructional, research, and outreach/extension efforts that challenge, motivate, and inspire learners and educators to be effective personal and professional contributors within this global arena.
