Nell Russell was appointed Associate Vice President of Diversity in 2008, after having served as the Director of the Employment Practices Office since January 5, 2004.  Nell held similar posts at Northeastern University (Boston, MA), Brown University (Providence, R.I.), and the University of Akron (Akron, Ohio).

Jim Osborn worked in Information Technology at UW for 9 years and also worked with GLBT and diversity-related committees such as Spectrum, the Rainbow Resource Center, and PACMWA.  He moved to the Office of Diversity and Employment Practices in June 2008.
