A degree in Communication and Journalism provides a broad range of professional and research courses, offering a sound interdisciplinary academic program for students who plan careers in some aspect of communication and journalism. All students who major in either communication or journalism are required to take the following core courses.
Communication careers can include human resources, speech writer, sales, government, lawyer, political campaign director, communication consultant, diversity consultant, governmental lobbyist, public information office, speech instructor or customer service representative.
