| Provisions for Handicapped
Students All student classrooms, laboratories, office space and other facilities are accessible to students with handicapping conditions. Abundant handicapped parking spaces are reserved. The division of Student Educational Opportunity also operates directly or cooperates with other social service or health agencies in making resources and services available to handicapped students. Among these are academic, personal, and financial counseling, tutoring, readers and notetakers, typing, errand services, auxiliary learning materials, adapted physical education programming, classroom and curriculum modifications, etc. Further information concerning these services may be secured by contacting the Division of Student Educational Opportunity, Room 314, Knight Hall. When making application for graduate study, students with handicapping conditions are encouraged to indicate the specific nature of their conditions and the special accommodations that are required in order that a member of our Admissions Committee might be able to discuss such requirements with them. |
