| Bob Beck Knight Hall 766-6626 btwo@uwyo.edu Bob Beck has taught Broadcast News Writing and Reporting for Radio and Television since 1988 at the University of Wyoming. He has been a broadcast journalist since 1980, working in Illinois as a Radio Sports Director and Newscaster and a Television Sports and Weather Anchor. He moved to Wyoming in 1984 to work as a radio News and Sports Director. He became the News Director of Wyoming Public Radio in 1988 where his station has won seven Associated Press News Station of the Year awards, and several awards both regionally and nationally for reporting. He is a regular contributor to National Public Radio, the Associated Press and numerous other news organizations. Bob has also been host and producer of numerous programs for Wyoming Public Television in Riverton, some that have been rebroadcast nationally. Bob is a graduate of Southern Illinois University at Carbondale in Radio-Television. He also is a member of both the Radio-Television News Directors Association and Public Radio News Directors Inc. |
