Tri-County Medical Center

Patient Information

Introduction
Thank you for choosing the Tri-County Medical Center as your family's health care provider.  Tri-County Medical Center is operated by the University of Wyoming Family Medicine Residency Program at Cheyenne.  Five board certified Family Physicians provide a health care for patients of all ages, including maternity care, occupational medicine, and wellness care.

Hours
The Center is currently open 8 AM to 12 Noon and from 1 PM to 5 PM Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, except holidays.  To schedule an appointment call 245-3666.  This number is also the after-hours doctor-on-call telephone number.  If you have an emergency, please go to the nearest Emergency Room.

Appointments and Cancellations
Patients are seen by appointment only.  Appointments are made between 9 AM and 12 Noon and from 1:00 PM to 4 PM.  If for some reason you can not keep your appointment, please call at least 24 hours in advance and reschedule.

Payment and Insurance
Our office will bill Medicaid (Wyoming), Medicare Part B, Blue Shield, Great West, NCAS, Mail Handlers, WinHealth, Caring for Children, Workers Compensation, TRICARE, Union Pacific Railroad Employee Health Service (UPREHS) and WalMart directly.  If you have financial difficulties, talk to our business office to arrange payments.  Please do not endanger your health by not having medical care.
Lab and X-ray
Many lab tests are done at the medical center.  As a registered patient, you can have strep screens and urine pregnancy tests done without seeing the doctor.  To do this, call the medical center so the lab can schedule the test.  Some tests will have to be sent to another laboratory.  When this occurs, you will receive an additional bill from them.  For example, there is an additional bill from the pathologist for a Pap test.

The Center also offers X-ray services.  However, some X-rays must be done at the hospital or the Cheyenne Radiology office.  They will bill you directly for their services.
