About Us

Our office consists of three different educational programs: Ag / Natural Resources, Cen$ible Nutrition, and 4-H & Youth Development.  Our mission is to educate and inform the public on everyday issues from how to manage livestock and/or crops to affordable and nutritional grocery shopping to youth development.

Big Horn County's 3,137 square miles comprises 3% of Wyoming's 97,100 square miles and is the 13th largest county in land mass.  Big Horn County tanks 15th for cattle population and 11th for sheep population.  This county is the 7th largest producer of alfalfa hay and the largest producer of oats.  We rank 2nd among Wyoming counties barley, sugar beets, and dry bean production.
