What is AFROTC at UW?

The Air Force Reserve Officers Training Corps (ROTC) at the University of Wyoming is an educational program designed to give men and women the opportunity to become an Air Force officer while completing a degree.

The Air Force ROTC program is designed to prepare you to assume positions of increasing responsibility and importance in the modern Air Force.

Air Force ROTC offers two routes to an Air Force commission - The Air Force ROTC Four-Year Program or the Two Year Program.  

Qualifications

To qualify for ROTC, you must

  • Be a United States citizen

  • Be physically qualified

  • Successfully pass the Air Force Officer Qualifying Test

  • Be of good moral character

  • Attend both Aerospace Studies and Leadership Laboratory
