Activities > CHAP Community Health Advancement Program (CHAP)Community Health Advancement Program (CHAP) began at the University of Wyoming in the fall of 2001 and was modeled after a similar program at the University of Washington. CHAP is sponsored by the Division of Medical Education and Wyoming Area Health Education Center (AHEC). The purpose of the UW CHAP program is to encourage students interested in health care professions to get involved in community volunteer and community activism projects. Students design, plan, implement, staff and evaluate these programs, with assistance and guidance from AHEC. Spring 2008 Meeting Schedule:Meetings at College of Health SciencesNoon to 1:00 – Room 449 – lunch provided free of charge.
