Undergraduate Non-Degree Application

  • This application is for Undergraduate credit only. This application enables non-degree undergraduates to enroll for classes without supplying transcripts or being formally admitted to UW. This application is not for degree seeking students. If you wish to be formally admitted to UW as a degree seeking-student, Please complete and Undergraduate Application.
  • This special admission status is not available to international students or students who are on suspension status at UW or any other college or university.
  • A $40.00 application fee is required. If you are a University of Wyoming employee, this fee is waived.
  • Official transcripts and test scores are not required for Non-degree status.
  • Only 12 credit hours taken in this special category may be used toward a University of Wyoming degree.
  • As a non-degree student, you are eligible to enroll in a maximum of 2 courses totaling no more than 7 credit hours per semester.
  • A student in non-degree status is not eligible for financial aid.
  • Academic advising is not required for anyone in non-degree undergraduate status. However, it is your responsibility to be aware of any prerequisites required for a course prior to registration.
  • Proof of immunity to measles, mumps and rubella(MMR) must be submitted to Health Services before you register. If you are an employee of the University of Wyoming, your record of immunization is already on file.
  • To register for classes, you must first receive your PERC number. Your PERC will automatically be assigned and will be available from The Center for Academic Advising and Career Services, 222 Knight Hall, (307) 766-2398.
